1. Scholarships & other Financial support to poor students for pursuing education, Research/Apprenticeship
2. Provide Access to Quality Education to poor students
3. Organise special training programs for promising poor students as per their aptitude
4. Conduct seminars, workshops, symposia on sector specific policy and best practices - Education, Health, Nutrition, etc.
5. Support Monitoring & Evaluation, undertake Impact Studies on Programs, Schemes, Projects, Initiatives, etc.
6. Support and strengthen Public education, skill training, and delivery systems to ensure quality, efficiency and effective delivery of citizen services.

GOWRAVAM FOUDNATION ACTIVITIES 2017-2021
Gowravam Foundation undertook several activities aimed at improving public education and health services.

• Physical Infrastructure improvement to Govt./Zilla Parishad Schools

1. Deaf & Dumb School, Vedullapally, Bapatla, Guntur District: With a cost of Rs.325,000/- infrastructure improvements were made to the school along with providing furniture, fans etc.
2. SPA Balayogi Social Welfare Gurukulam Residential School for Girls, Narasayapalem, Bapatla Mandal, Guntur District. Gowravam Foundation adopted this school, which was originally an Aided School promoted by the GF Chairperson Sri.K.Papa Rao. An amount of about Rs.12,00,000/- is spent on the Gurukulam School during 2018-19 & 2019-20.

• Promoting Digital Literacy, Reading & Mentoring in Zilla Parishad/ Government Schools:

1. Digital Class Rooms were set up at the cost of Rs.450,000/-in ten Zilla Parishad/ Government Schools in 2 districts - Guntur (Bapatla, Ponnuru and Tenali Mandals) & West Godavari District (Vanguru Mandal). Two Computer Operators are also provided for Vanguru & Lakshmipuram Schools.
2. Computer Labs was set up at Narasayapalem Aided School and Vanguru Zilla Parishad High School by the Foundation in coordination with Microsoft, Hyderabad. There was no cost for the Foundation.



3. Library Books Donation: Gowravam Foundation donated books at the cost of Rs.7500/school to Zilla Parishad/Government Schools based on a list prepared with the inputs from Director, AP Grandhalaya Samastha, Ashok Book Stores, Vijayawada, Manchi Pusthakam Publishers, AP Library Association and erudite persons. Eight (8) Government/Zilla Parishad Schools and one Old Age home (closely mentoring local Government school at Repalle) in Guntur, Chittoor, East & West Godavari districts. Total cost incurred Rs.60,000/-.
4. Mentoring Schools: The Foundation mentored Government/Zilla Parishad schools, students & teachers through supporting activities like conducting of Remedial classes, training, promoting leadership skills by participation in Scouts & Guides events, conducting Annual Day programs, etc. It also supported wages for out sourcing staff.

• Coaching for Competitive Examinations: The Foundation supported coaching and boarding facilities to 6 unemployed youth from disadvantaged communities of Vanguru Village, West Godavari District at the cost of Rs.525,000/-

• Gowravam Foundation donated 88 Scientific Calculators to Pothukuchi Trust to help newly admitted Polytechnic Students of 6 branches. This was done with the support of Incredibles, a group of 30 volunteers.
